Police seek information on Maldon dog attack

POLICE officers investigating an incident in Maldon are asking for the public's help to trace the owner of a dog that injured a man.
The man reported that he was bitten on the wrist by a dog as he walked along the public footpath that runs along a farmer's field close to the Royal Oak Pub on Fambridge Road in Maldon at around 5.45pm on Thursday, 18 June.
The injury required medical treatment.
The dog, described as a black Alsatian-type of dog, was being walked by a man who was described as white, aged between 40-50 and who had a bald head.A police statement said: "If you have any information, CCTV, dash cam or other footage in relation to this incident, then please get in contact with us quoting crime reference 42/95466/26.
