A new community hub event will see members of Essex Police and community services in the Maldon district speak to residents about local issues of concern.

The event, organised by the antisocial behaviour team at Maldon District Council, will take place in Heybridge next Wednesday (16 February) in efforts to bring the local community together.

A spokesperson from the council said the event will involve "emergency services, community organisations and other local services talk about local issues within the community, and help raise awareness of the services and support available to residents".

Members of Essex Police, Maldon and District Community Voluntary Service (MDCVS), Citizens Advice in Maldon and the council's community engagement team will be in attendance.

The spokesperson added: "We hope you will be able to join us, and learn more about the people and services that you can go to for help in the local community."

The event will be held in Plantation Hall, on Colchester Road in Heybridge, between 10am and 2pm.

Booking is not required to attend.
