Police update after lorry overturns on Maldon Road Roundabout

Essex Police have revealed that no arrests were made following a lorry overturning on the Oak Corner roundabout, Maldon Road, yesterday afternoon (August 29).

The lorry overturned on the A414 roundabout at around 1.30pm on Thursday, blocking access to Maldon Road from Danbury.

Thankfully, the driver walked away unscathed from the incident, with no injuries reported on scene.

The road was closed for several hours by officers while the vehicle was recovered, with the road reopening fully again at around 7.20pm.

Reportedly at least three fire engines, a number of police vehicles, an ambulance and an air ambulance attended the scene.
