Police issue CCTV image after Maldon assault

POLICE are appealing for the public's help to identify a man in connection with an ongoing investigation into a sexual assault in Maldon.

Officers were called to Mill Road in Maldon at around 8:30am on 10 June following reports of a teenage girl being assaulted. 

The victim reported that she was walking along Mill Road when a man touched her skirt and upper legs.

The victim reported to police and enquiries are ongoing.

A police statement says: "We are appealing for the public's help to identify this man in connection with this investigation.
