Police investigate ‘serious’ collision near Maldon

Hackmans Lane in Purleigh was closed until 1pm today after a serious collision in the early hours.
The one-vehicle collision was reported to police shortly after 2.30am, Monday January 6.
It has not yet been confirmed if anyone was injured in the crash.
The road between Hagg Hill in Cold Norton and Birchwood Road in Cock Clarks remained closed until 1pm while Police investigated.
The road is now open. Police are continuing their enquiries.
