Travelling to Promenade Park this evening for Soultasia, or going to Fantasia tomorrow? Here are some important updates on car parking and travel arrangements.

Parking Information

• Pre-booked parking for SOULTASIA (Friday June 17) is available on site at Promenade Park and can be booked through Skiddle.
• Pre-booked parking for FANTASIA (Saturday June 18) is available on site at Promenade Park and can be booked through Skiddle.
• Limited parking is also available on the day at the nearby Lower Plume school just a short walk from the park, but will fill quickly. Lower Plume School, Mill Road, Maldon CM9 5JA.
• Free Parking is also available at Museum of Power with a shuttle bus service running to the park and back from 3pm until 12 midnight. Museum of Power, Hatfield Rd, Langford, Maldon CM9 6QA.
• There is a free shuttle bus service running from South Woodham Ferrers train station to the park and back from 3pm until 12 midnight.

Event Information

• No food is allowed to be brought into the festival. There are lots of food stalls catering for all tastes.
• No liquids, alcohol or any other drinks are allowed to be brought in to the festival with the exception of sealed bottles of water.
• There are licensed bars at the festival selling alcohol and soft drinks also coffee and tea vendors.
• Fold up chairs can be brought into the event.
• This event is for all ages and children under 10 come free if accompanied by an adult.
• Disabled carers have free entry, requiring appropriate DLA documentation to be shown on arrival.

Temperatures in Maldon today (Friday) will start off around 21°C at 8am, and are predicted to soar to 32°C by 4pm.

On Saturday, the weather is expected to cool down slightly, reaching a peak of 21°C between 10am and 1pm.
