Four Maldon Pubs, as well as a number of others across the District, have been featured in the CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) Good Beer Guide 2025.

The Guide, which lists 4,500 of the best pubs across the UK, is the definitive beer drinker's guide for those seeking the best pints in the nations' pubs - and is on sale now.

Seen by many real ale lovers as the gospel of top quality tap houses, the best-selling guide puts the UKs best pubs, beers, and breweries on display  - as rated by thousands of CAMRA volunteers.

As well as covering 472 of the very best pubs across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk, it includes 94 new pub entries across the counties.

Here's a sneak peak at some of the locals featured in the Guide:

The Brewery's star-studded permanent range of ales earn their return to the prestigious guide.

Gill Crawford, Director at Mighty Oak Brewing Company, told Nub News: "We are thrilled to see that our micropub, The Mighty Oak Tap Room, is once again listed in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide.

"Our friendly Tap Room, at the top end of Maldon High Street, is a much-loved haven for ale lovers in Maldon and the quality of the ales offered on the bar is top notch, as voted for by CAMRA members.

"Thanks to CAMRA's work over the last 50+ years, real ale is alive and kicking in East Anglia, despite some of the 'big brewers' talking about a downturn, and The Mighty Oak Brewery is busy brewing 1000s of pints each week of traditional real ale that is synonymous with British pubs."
