A GROUP of textile artists who have exhibited internationally for the last 20 years will be showing their work and skills at Maldon's Maeldune Centre later this summer.

The Material Girls will celebrate two decades of success with the exhibition at the centre, on the corner of Market Hill and the High Street, from 19 August to 4 September 4. The show will be open from Tuesday to Saturday over the two weeks, from 11am to 4pm.

The 'Enchanted Garden' features textile and mixed media pieces exploring what each artist finds magical about gardens.

The Havering-based group were formed in 2001 by Chris Spencer.
