TWO Maldon supermarkets joined forces to help fill Christmas hampers for the community's elderly and vulnerable residents.

Kathy from Maldon Morrison's and Rhiain from Maldon Tesco Extra supplied food and goods to help fill the hampers being assembled at the Cafe at St Peter's Hospital in Spital Road, Maldon.

Julie Taylor (pictured centre) who runs the cafe will distribute the hampers, along with those filled by Maldon Women's Institute and other contributors, to local people this festive season.
