UFest 2025: Maldon District Council announces exciting details

Maldon District Council has announced an exciting update on this year's UFest.
UFest will take place on Friday, August 15 at Maldon's Promenade Park, promising a day filled with fun, learning, and community spirit.
The wellbeing festival is an annual event that brings together a diverse range of organisations to showcase their services and engage with the community.
It returns for the fourth time this year after seeing continual success.
It has received £4,000 from the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
From 11am until 4pm, visitors can enjoy live music, performances and a prize trail for families. There will also be plenty of opportunity to meet children's activity providers, sports clubs, emergency services, community organisations, and Essex Libraries - who may be holding activities to get involved in.
Cllr Richard Siddall, Leader of Maldon District Council, said; "UFest is a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together and learn about the incredible services available to them. This is combined with a day to enjoy family-friendly activities.
"We are proud to see so many organisations returning to support this event and look forward to welcoming everyone in August."
More details on the event schedule and participating organisations will be revealed in the coming months.
