UFest Community Festival returns to Maldon Promenade Park this Friday, August 16.

The free community festival aims to celebrate life, health, and wellbeing and promises to offer a diverse range of activities, entertainment, and support services for the entire community.

Councillor Richard Siddall, Leader of Maldon District Council said, "I am really pleased that UFest is returning to Maldon Promenade Park again for 2024.

"The festival has received lots of positive feedback since it began in 2022, and the team behind it have planned an even bigger and better festival this year.

"UFest will give residents an opportunity to take part in activities, try something new and find support they might need."

This year there are six zones to experience: Health and Wellbeing, Children and Family, Sport, Blue Light, Discovery and Climate.

Take part in the UFest Trail and visit each zone to get a prize!

Free activities will be running from 11am to 4pm, including live music, interactive stalls, and events for the whole community.

There will be a fantastic selection of games, sports, and activities to get involved with throughout the day.

There will also be a number of charities and community groups in attendance.

UFest is free to enter and open to all members of the family.
