Unaccompanied young boy seen in Heybridge found safe and well

An unaccompanied young boy sighted three times in Heybridge this evening (Tuesday, 15 March) has been found safe and well.

The boy was first seen at around 6pm, wearing only Marvel pyjama bottoms.

Residents joined the search to look for the boy following a police appeal.

Essex Police has now confirmed the boy has been found.

A spokesperson for the force said: "Thankfully, he is safe and well.

"We would like to thank everyone in the community who helped look for him."
