Well-known Youtube group the ‘Sidemen’ star Maldon’s Osea Island in new video

Popular Youtube Group, the 'Sidemen' can be spotted adventuring across Osea Island in their most-recent video.

The video, titled 'Ultimate Hide and Seek on an Island' features the popular youtube boy-group as they play hide and seek against 40 other well-known social media personalities and celebrities, including rapper Aitch.

The 'Sidemen' are the most popular group on UK Youtube, with over 21.4 million subscribers and over 6.2 billion lifetime views on their main Youtube Channel.

Made up of Olajide (KSI), Simon, Josh, Tobi, Ethan, Vik, and Harry, the group produce videos of various challenges, sketches, and video game commentaries across their multiple YouTube channels, which have a combined total of 146 million subscribers. 

The video, posted on Sunday, July 7, has already (Monday July 8, 2.30pm) amassed over 2 million views.

Osea Island is well-featured in the video, as the the 40 celebrities vlog their journeys' and hide across the island. 

Infrastructure spotted includes the Captain's House Hotel and the watchtower.

The private island is found in the estruary of the River Blackwater and is approximately 380 acres in size.

The island was last in the news after hosting Olly Murs's wedding in July 2023.
