Evening of conversation with local author, Maldon Books

Join Maldon Books for an exciting evening of conversation with local author Rosie Sandler and Jenny Land at Maldon Books! 

This in-person event will take place at the high street bookshop, celebrating Rosie's debut crime novel, Seeds of Murder, the first in The Gardener Mysteries series.

Maldon Books will have plenty of copies available for you to purchase at the event. You'll also get a complimentary glass of prosecco on arrival.

This event is due to start at 7pm, and doors will be open from 6:45pm.

Sleeping Beauty Pantomime, Goldhanger Village Hall

Maldon and District Drama Society presents Sleeping Beauty: The Pantomime.

Script by Katrina and Nathan Rowland and directed by Emma Loring, this would be the local drama group's first pantomime. 

Sleeping Beauty will run from Friday 15th December to Sunday 17th December 2023 @ Goldhanger Village Hall.

Saturday

Live Jazz, Wickham Bishops Village Hall

The New Orleans All Stars will be performing live Jazz with a superb 7-piece line-up featuring cornet, clarinet, trombone, piano, guitar, bass and drums. 

Doors open 6.30 pm for 7.30 pm start. No bar, bring your own drinks, glasses and nibbles.

Sunday

Christmas Crafts Fayre, The Village at Barleylands

Hosted by AJ Events, Barleylands FREE Christmas Market will be held on Sunday 17th December.

Along with festive treats, gifts and our Craft Village Shops, we will have entertainment from Ellie Marie, singing Christmas songs and appearances throughout the day from The Grinch!

Confirmed stalls will be announced closer to the time. Help spread the word to support local businesses this Christmas.
