Maldon High Street's Café Brazil Tapas Bar has been put up for sale.

In an advertisement on Right Move, Knightsbridge Business Brokers states the popular Brazilian Restaurant is selling the business to "facilitate lifestyle changes".

The description includes an approximate turnover of £217,000, with earnings before operating expenses coming in at £121,000.

The advert does not include the business' price, which is listed as 'on application' - but invites offers to be made.

Café Brazil - which remains open for business - is a popular restaurant in Maldon and is described as offering "authentic South American cuisine".

The advert describes the business as having a: "Strong brand presence and established reputation in the area.

"Excellent acquisition opportunity for complementary businesses.

"Long-standing client base providing repeat business.

"Benefits from high ratings and positive client testimonials.

"Scope to increase business and service offering to encourage growth.

"Operates from fully equipped leasehold premises in a prime location."

Maldon Nub News has approached Café Brazil for comment.
