Magic Night, Maldon

Head to the Town Hall for an exciting night of magic with the mid-Essex magic society. There is a bar with sharing platters available. Tickets are £12 each, with food for an additional price of £15.

Saturday

Horticulture Show, Maldon

Maldon & Heybridge Horticultural Society invite you to their summer show and plant sale at United Reformed Church Hall. There will be a prize presentation by Maldon Mayor, Cllr Andrew Lay, as well as an extensive plant sale packed with bargain plants grown by members of the society. Open from 10 am until 3.30 pm, with entry just 50p. Refreshments and homemade cakes available.

Great War Educational Weekend, Purleigh

Join the team at Stow Maries Great War Aerodrome, offering the very best in Great War Living History from across the UK. Admission covers access to all galleries, access to the aircraft hangars, access to all living history camps and displays, access to the Airmen's Mess Café and free parking.

Sunday

Family & Community Nature Day, Maldon

This free event invites you and the family to Ironworks Meadows, for an action-packed community nature day. Have fun discovering wildlife on the stunning nature reserve. There will be activities for all including: A checklist of animals and plants to look out for, nets & bug pots available to help hunt for mini-beasts, dipping for aquatic creature, experts to point out and identify different species and the opportunity to view moths that have been trapped over the previous night. Available from 10 am - 2 pm.
