Ceramics Show, Wivenhoe
Find a pop-up Ceramics show tomorrow at the Old Grocery, High Street, Wivenhoe. Browse work from five Essex-based potters: Ann Hebden, Sandra Hall, Lucy Fowler, Jacqui Cade-Bowyer, and Judith Annakie-Eriksen. The art will be available to purchase until November 19.

Saturday
Nearly New Sale, Maldon
Friary Preschool will be holding a nearly new sale on Saturday November 16. The preschool is located behind Maldon library at Chapter house. Good quality gifts, toys, books and children's clothes will be available to purchase. All proceeds will be used to buy preschool equipment. Come along from 10.30 -2.30 to support the school and grab a bargain.

Christmas Fayre, Great Totham
Head to Great Totham Village Hall on Saturday and check out their 'The Snowman' themed Christmas Fayre. There will be crafts and cakes available, a children's snowman competition, a Christmas raffle, mince pies and more. Head to the hall from 11am to 3pm.

Stargazing Evening, Langford
The Museum of Power has partnered with the North Essex Astronomical Society for a magical evening of stargazing. There will be the opportunity to use a range of telescopes under the direction of experienced astronomers to observe stars and planets. Learn about constellations, meteors and more with engaging talks from NEAS astronomers. Perfect for all ages and abilities, this event welcomes both seasoned stargazers and those new to astronomy.

Sunday
Sponsored Walk, South Woodham Ferrers
The Maldon u3a Sunday Strollers will be walking on Sunday in aid of the BBC Children in Need Appeal. Strollers will meet at 10:15 for a 10:30 start from the car park on the right at the bottom of Marsh Farm Road, South Woodham Ferrers, CM3 5WP.The walk is some 3.5 miles and will be alongside the river Crouch. As this is a sponsored walk you can bring friends and family, and dogs. If you would like to take part in the walk and raise money for a worthwhile cause, then this is the perfect Sunday activity.
