Book Launch, Maldon

Come along to an exciting book launch at Maldon Books. There'll be a celebration of the publication 'Shelf Life: A Journey Through the Past, Present & Future of Bookselling and Publishing in Britain' by Michael Robb. Drinks will be on offer, and there will be plenty of copies of 'Shelf Life' available at the event for you to purchase and have signed by Michael. Join in on celebrating a book that explores the literary landscapes, written by Michael Robb, who was the owner of the beloved independent bookshop in Chelmsford, Robbs Bookshop, that ran for 16 years.

Live Music and Fundraising Event, Maldon

The Maldon Festival is celebrating its relaunch with a bang, with a brilliant musical evening. Enjoy an evening of entertainment featuring Beethoven's Spring Sonata, Noel Coward and more. Attendees can look forward to performances featuring former festival director, Colin Baldy, with James Davey on St Mary's organ, Megan Hill on violin and James Housego on Piano. Head to St Mary's Church at 7.30pm.

The Row and Gig Race 2025, Maldon

The RNLI Sponsored Row and Gig Race will take place on Saturday. The action-packed event on Maldon Hythe will see rowing boats, gigs, paddle boards, canoes, and more racing across the water. There will be fun on and off the water so spectators and competitors alike, with fun competitions and prizes.
