Where have the High Street benches gone? Council promises swift return

Noticed some missing benches from the High Street? Don't fret, there hasn't been a bench bandit!
Some of the well-used benches outside All Saints Church on Maldon High Street have been taken away for maintenance work.
Maldon Town Council have reassured the well-loved benches are soon to return once back in good repair.
The benches, outside the church between The Oak House and Maldon Books, are often very popular during the day due to being in a prime High Street people watching spot (and their proximity to the bus stop and Greggs of course!)
