Active Essex has opened bookings for their winter Holiday Activity programme across Essex.

The programme means eligible children and young people can access youth clubs over the holiday's for free.

The activity programme for the Maldon area includes:

• Little Sportsters Maldon (4-12 years): December 23/ 30 and January 2/3. 
• Little Sportsters Heybridge (4-12 years): December 23/30 and January 2/3. 
• Little Sportsters Maylandsea (4-12 years): December 23/30 and January 2/3. 
• Roaring Lions Activity Camp (4-15 years): December 23, 24, 27, 30 December
• Colchester United Community Foundation (School Yr Reception to School Yr 6)
• AEF Combat Academy (11+): December 27, 28, 29 and January 2
• AEF Church Boxing (11+): December 30 and January 2/3
• The Future of Sport Ultimate Sports Camp (11-16): December 23 and January 2

The clubs are available to children who are eligible or receive pupil premium and income related free school meals.  

Voucher codes should be emailed to parents by their children's school, with one code per child every holiday, with parents having to book the activity of choice ahead of time. 

If you are still waiting on a voucher code you should contact your school who should be able to provide this.

There are also limited spaces available for young people who are not eligible but are from 'low-income' working families, may be vulnerable and/or experience inactivity or social isolation. For more information on this, you can email [email protected].
