Remedial works along Maypole Road, Heybridge, have been postponed to start on July 31 and end on August 13.

TriConnex Limited will also be undertaking works on Langford Road and Holloway Road.

The works will require open excavations which will be "appropriately guarded off at all times", resulting in a temporary road closure for the duration.

The road closure will begin outside Number 161, Holloway Road, to the junction with Langford Road roundabout. From the Maypole Road roundabout, the closure will reach the site entrance of the Westcombe Park development.

TriConnex Limited has assured access will be kept to properties "as much as possible", particularly overnight. However, residents have been asked to find alternative parking while works are carried out.

Last summer, the three major Heybridge roads were disrupted for six weeks.
