The members of Maldon Young Farmers are set to hold a fireworks display this weekend, which will raise funds for a charity that supports those living with Crohn's and ulcerative colitis.

The display will be held on Saturday (6 November) at Chigborough Road, in Heybridge, and has been organised in aid of the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation.

The charity is dedicated to finding cures for Crohn's and ulcerative colitis, and to improving the quality of life of those affected by the diseases.

All attendees to this weekend's fireworks night will be required to pay a £5 minimum donation per person on the door, while under 12s go free.

There will be a barbeque, cakes and drinks.

The bonfire will be lit at 7.30pm.
