1. Support the grand re-opening of Maldon's independent lingerie shop
Maldon's thriving independent lingerie shop is expanding this weekend, and is welcoming all residents to come along, have a glass of prosecco and enjoy the special offers available.
The Bra Consultancy came to Maldon at the beginning of 2020, and is moving two doors down - to 16 Edward's Walk - this Friday (19 November) after achieving success in the town.
Councillor David Ogg, the town mayor, will be officially opening the new shop at 11am on Friday, and the celebrations will continue on Saturday (20 November) to give more residents the chance to attend and get exclusive access to the shop's new ranges.

2. Test your festive knowledge with a Christmas quiz night
Prepare yourselves for a bumper raffle and a fantastic night with 100 questions from quiz master Kevin this Saturday (20 November).
Simply head down to the West Maldon Community Centre, on Sunbury Way in Maldon, to get into the festive spirit and be in with a chance of winning six bottles of wine by coming first in the quiz.
Entry is £4 per person, and under 16s go free.

3. Enjoy festive afternoon tea at Stow Maries Great War Aerodrome
Head down to Stow Maries Great War Aerodrome this weekend to enjoy the special festivities it is holding to bring extra Christmas cheer to residents.
The museum is offering a festive afternoon tea every Friday, Saturday and Sunday throughout November and December in its Mess Café at its site on Hackmans Lane in Purleigh.
Guests can enjoy a festive twist on the café's classic sandwiches, savouries and sweet treats at a cost of £19.50 per person.
A guided tour of the site is also available at extra cost.
Residents are advised to book the afternoon tea by emailing [email protected] by the Tuesday before the day of your visit, so if you missed out this weekend make sure to book for next!
