Upstairs Downstairs in Edwards Walk, Maldon, recently celebrated its one-year anniversary under new ownership, and offers a variety of brands to suit all tastes and budgets this summer.
"For the size of our store, we try to offer a bit of everything," Sales Assistant Jodi Harrison told Nub News.
The store stocks Laura Ashley and Timorous Beasties products, which shoppers won't find elsewhere in Maldon. Fans of Laura Ashley can purchase bedding made by the iconic company right on their doorstep.
With a brand new autumn/winter Laura Ashley range set to arrive, including blankets, cushions and bed linen, shoppers can prepare to get cosy towards the end of summer.
As the bedding assortment continues to expand, a new range of natural fibre duck down, goose down, and feather pillows and duvets is said to be coming soon.
Significantly wet weather in recent weeks may tempt parents to pick up a new raincoat or umbrella for their little ones. Upstairs Downstairs is offering reduced prices on a selection of back to school items.
While schoolchildren enjoy a well-earned break over the summer, many parents may already be looking ahead to September. Upstairs Downstairs stocks a range of rucksacks and lunchboxes, ready for the new school year.
There is also a modest selection of children's summer clothing, including t-shirts and polo shirts.
However, Upstairs Downstairs still stocks the old favourites, such as curtains and homeware, which it has sold in Maldon for the last 47 years. An order-in service is also offered at the store.
As always, Jelly Cats are proving to be a bestseller.
"Everyone just loves Jelly Cats," Jodi added.
WATCH: Upstairs Downstairs reopened under new ownership in 2022, as the previous owners retired after 46 years.
