BREAKING: Part of Maldon High Street shut off with four fire engines on scene

A section of Maldon High Street has been shut off as Police, the ambulance and fire service flock to the scene.

Four fire vehicles, four ambulances and the Police have been spotted on scene near the Wantz Road junction of Maldon High Street.

Passers-by have reported seeing significant damage to the roof of Embassy Court, a retirement housing building.

The section of the road from the Wantz Road junction to Victoria Road is closed off, with the rest of the High Street operating as normal.
