Council announces free activities day in Burnham

Maldon District Council has announced a Family Activities Day which will take place in Burnham-on-Crouch later in July.
The free event will take over Riverside Park on Thursday, July 31 from 12pm to 5pm.
It promises a fun-filled afternoon for families, with a wide range of activities suitable for all ages.
Highlights of the day include:
- King Ramps will be delivering a community skatepark activity in the newly constructed skatepark from 12pm to 5pm.
- Maldon & District CVS will be running a Green Space Games activity from 1pm to 3pm.
- Dengie Hundred Leisure Centre will have their sports hall open for table tennis and badminton between 12pm and 1:30pm, and 2:30pm to 4pm.
- The Council's Community Safety Team will be offering free bike security marking and providing help and advice on local community safety issues throughout the day.
This event has been organised by the Council in partnership with the participating organisations, and with support from Essex Youth Service and Active Essex.

"It's a fantastic opportunity for families to come together, enjoy a range of free activities, and make the most of our wonderful local facilities.
