HEALTH bosses are seeking the view of those living in Maldon district to help them understand why take-up of flu vaccinations is lower than hoped.

A spokesperson for Mid Essex Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) said: "Not enough people are taking advantage of a free flu vaccination programme to help protect them and we'd like your views and experiences to understand what, if anything, we can do differently to make sure those most at risk are protected this winter.

"We know that certain people across mid-Essex are at higher risk of serious complications if they catch the flu. In the run up to winter, we want to do everything we can to protect those most at risk from getting ill."

The CCG has created an online survey to collect residents' views.

The survey can be completed here
