RESIDENTS and businesses across Maldon district are being asked to give the council some feedback.

The online survey is aimed at giving local people a chance to have their say about Maldon District Council services and will be available to complete from next Monday (21 September).

The annual survey was first launched in 2019 and saw 520 residents and 43 businesses take part. Questions include general views about the district, through to more detailed questions ranging from health and wellbeing, through to climate change, council services and facilities.

A council spokesperson said that this year's survey will be particularly important in helping to shape future plans and services in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Richard Holmes, the council's director of service delivery, said; "I would like to thank everyone who took the time to respond to last year's survey. The results of the first survey in December 2019 have given the council some useful feedback and we are feeding this into our improvement plans.

"Gathering information like this is one of the best ways of understanding what people across the district think and the valuable information that we get helps us to deliver the best services that we can.

"I would like to encourage as many residents and businesses as possible to complete the survey this year."

The survey will run for six weeks until 1 November 2020. It can be completed by going to the Maldon District Council website from next Monday onwards.
