Music legends Billy Ocean, Sister Sledge, and The Jacksons will perform in Maldon's Promenade Park as part of this weekend's 'fabulous' music events.
This Friday, Soultasia will kick off proceedings with soul stars Shalamar, The Real Thing, Sister Sledge and Billy Ocean.
Then on Saturday, Fantasia 2022 will host pop icons Wet Wet Wet and The Jacksons, along with Mis-Teeq's Sabrina Washington and X Factor winner Matt Cardle. Plus, ABBA tribute 'Björn Again' and Queen tribute 'Majesty' will be performing.
Organisers Steve Cochrane and Sean McLoughlin said: "We brought back Fantasia for the people of Maldon and beyond to enjoy a fabulous day listening to and watching exciting artists from the UK and around the world, creating opportunities for local business and freelance staff.
"There's nothing like this running in the area - global acts in your local park!"
But before the acts can perform, the rigging team have to turn this playing field into a concert arena. Nub News was invited down to take a sneak peak at the early stages of setting up:
