Residents, businesses and organisations in the Maldon District are once again being invited to take part in the Council's annual survey.

The survey hopes to find out what really matters to those living within the Maldon District, with feedback used to help the council prioritise and plan for the future.

It asks a number of questions, including your overall satisfaction with living in the area, how safe you feel, and how you feel council funding is prioritised.

Councillor Richard Siddall, Leader of Maldon District Council, said: "Giving us your feedback helps the Council to make its plans for the future and to know what to focus on. That's why I am asking everyone to join the discussion and give us your views.

"2024 has been an eventful year so far. We've had changes to our waste and recycling routes, new play equipment installed in our parks, the replacement pontoon at Burnham on Crouch, and a Clean Air Route established on Market Hill.

"These are just some of the things that the Council has delivered, and we continue to work to make the Maldon District the best it can be.

"It's therefore really important that we know what you want and also what concerns you about the District so that we know where to target our efforts. Quite simply, knowing what is important to residents, businesses and organisations is the best way for us to plan for the future.

"Please take a few moments to let us know what you think about the Council and our unique District and as a thank you, you could win a £50 voucher."

The survey closes November 24, 2024.

Join the discussion now, you can fill out the survey here.
