Maldon District: Three hospitalised and Essex Police appeal launched following Langford collision

A two-vehicle collision in Langford, near Maldon, last Thursday (October 5) left three people hospitalised, Essex Police has confirmed.

Emergency services were called to the scene in Hatfield Road at around 3.30pm.

Three people taken to hospital for treatment. One of them had sustained serious leg, shoulder, and hip injuries.

Last Thursday's two-vehicle collision saw a a Transit van collide with a car. Police said the van driver, a man in his sixties, was taken to hospital but his condition is "not thought to be life-changing".

However, police have launched an appeal for witnesses and information to assist with their investigation.

A spokesperson for Essex Police said: "If you have any information, CCTV, dash cam or other footage in relation to that incident, then please get in contact with us. Please quote incident 834 of 5 October.

"You can let us know by submitting a report on our website or by using our online Live Chat service available Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) between 10am and 9pm."
