Maldon: Man hospitalised following 'incident' with electricity cable

The East Anglian Air Ambulance and other emergency services were called to Maldon's Wycke Hill estate yesterday (October 10) after a man was injured in an incident with an electricity cable.

A spokesperson for the East of England Ambulance Service said: "One ambulance, an ambulance officer vehicle, three Hazardous Area Response Team vehicles and the East Anglian Air Ambulance were called to Carter Avenue, Maldon, yesterday afternoon, following reports of a man injured in an incident with an electricity cable. One patient was transported by road ambulance to Broomfield Hospital."

The patient was taken to Broomfield Hospital, Chelmsford, in an ambulance. His current condition is unknown.
