The Maldon & Dengie Campaign for Real Ale returns on April 10 to 13.

The beer and cider festival is heading back to The Swan Hotel Bar & Grill's Cygnet Room, Maldon High Street, from 12 noon until 11 pm each day.

There will be up to 48 ales on offer, of which 12 are from local brewers.

There will also be 12 ciders to choose from, as well as food.

The festival will be doing collections for the Maldon & Heybridge Basin Royal British Legion, in honour of the 80th Anniversary of the D-Day landings.

An emblem depicting the landings will feature on this year's commemorative festival glass.

The festival is sponsored by four local breweries: Crouch Vale Brewery, Mighty Oak Brewery, Wibblers Brewery and The Cap & Feathers.

More information can be found on the festival's website.
