Burnham-on-Crouch schoolboy and BAFTA award-winner Lenny Rush, acted as an announcer alongside Ant & Dec on Saturday Night Takeaway this weekend.
Lenny, 15, who shot to stardom after his role in the comedy drama series 'Am I Being Unreasonable?' appeared as the Star Guest Announcer on ITV's Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway on March 6.
He is the youngest announcer the popular variety show has ever had in its 20 series.
Lenny presented each stage of the show, cracking jokes and bantering with the broadcast legends along the way.
Lenny also appeared in the end credits of the show, alongside a star-studded cast including Ant & Dec, boyband Take That, Andi Peters, Babatunde Aleshe, Olivia Atwood and Jordan North.
In an Instagram post following the show, Lenny said: "Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway!!! What an experience! I had the best night with the best people! Thanks to everyone on the show, and everyone who watched the show." (@mrlennyrush, 07.04.2024)
Saturday night's broadcast was the penultimate show of the programme, as Saturday Night Takeaway is set for an indefinite hiatus after the 20th season ends.
Lenny Rush has had an incredible showreel since his BAFTA-winning role in BBC One comedy Am I Being Unreasonable?.
Rush appeared as the first-ever child presenter on BBC One's Children In Need in 2023, following an announcement in June that he would portray Morris in the 14th series of Dr Who.
In November 2023, Rush won the Taskmaster New Years Treat.
He has also appeared in the Dumping Ground, Steven Knight's A Christmas Carol, and comedy drama Dodger.
