Essex police have launched an appeal for people impacted by significant disruption on October 10

They are looking for people who were severely inconvenienced by delays between 11.15-18.15pm Tuesday October 10

The disruption was caused by a man holding protest on a footbridge on the A12 at Stanway in Colchester.

A substantial number of people were delayed by the disruption, but Essex Police say they want to specifically hear from anyone who: "Could not attend medical appointments, could not attend planned work/school and therefore missed out on pay/education, or missed, or were severely delayed, attending any significant life events."

Essex Police are working alongside the Crown Prosecution Service and investigations are progressing into the incident.

If you have not yet spoken to police, please come forward and help ensure Essex Police can keep the county's roads moving freely in the future.
