This time around, we thought we'd focus on part-time roles available in the Maldon area. 

Whether you have a bit of extra time on your hands, or are getting back into work, all these roles require just secondary education or minimal experience to get started.

Breakfast Club Assistant, Chelmsford

Allstar Community Academy is looking for a Monday to Friday part-time assistant to help a friendly team deliver outstanding care to children. With Two to five shifts available weekly, term time only, this role could be perfect for those reaching retirement. Have fun playing games with the kids and help provide a safe, fun and stimulating environment. Hours from 7.15 am until 9am, paying £9-£11.65.

After School Club Assistant, Little Waltham

As an After School Club Assistant, you will work with a group of children aged from 4-11 years, providing after school care. You will be a playworker, creating opportunities to encourage children's social, physical, intellectual, creative and emotional development through play. You must be energetic and enthusiastic, to ensure children have a brilliant time. This role is a term time only role, with working hours 3pm until 6pm Monday to Friday. Experience desired but not required.

Saturday Studio Supervisor, Chelmsford

Fancy yourself a ninja? Code Ninja's are looking for a Saturday Supervisor (Code Sensei) to oversee a fun coding workshop for kids. Join the energetic team as they provide a fun and safe learning environment for children. Do you enjoy teaching and building problem solving skills in young minds? Coding and teaching experience is not required but a basic understanding of coding and an enjoyment of mentoring and childcare are preferential. Just Saturday shifts from 9.15am-2.45pm, £8-£12 an hour.

Care Assistant, Maldon

Make a difference to the lives of local people, while developing care skills. In this role you will provide companionship and personal care, offer medication, prepare meals, housekeep and help with mobility to support clients. No experience is required as you'll receive advanced training to deliver high standards of quality care. You must be a strong communicator, be patient, have compassion and be able to drive. Pay up to £13.83 an hour.

Saturday Ticket Office Assistant, Chelmsford

White Elm Garden Centre and Petting Farm are looking for an enthusiastic individual to work in the ticket office at the entrance of the Farm. In this role you will use the booking system, explain the rules and Health & Safety of the Farm to each customer, as well as selling animal feed and using the till system. The candidate is also expected to tidy the outside play area. This role is for a Saturday member of staff, 8.45am until 4pm. Experience in customer facing role preferential but not required.

Bubble Tea Bobarista, Witham

Bubblescape Witham are seeking a friendly and outgoing part time member of staff to join  team in the centre of Witham. This role involves crafting delicious and refreshing bubble tea and coffee based beverages, serving alcohol, checking in and attending to guests of our private karaoke room. This is a part time position for a negotiable number of regular hours on Friday and Saturdays finishing at 22:15 with additional evenings and day shifts possible. Roles start at eight regular hours with additional shifts available. From £12 per hour.
