3. Attend Maldon's Remembrance Sunday service

The town is commemorating 100 years this week since Maldon's war memorial was dedicated and the Maldon and Heybridge branch of the Royal British Legion (RBL) was established.

Residents are being invited to attend to pay their respects to those who died during the two world wars.

Meet at 10.30am at the war memorial on Maldon High Street on Sunday (14 November) for the parade and service, which will end by 11.15am.

Veterans from the district are being urged to join the Maldon Armed Forces and Veterans Club on its first parade in the town on the day - find out how to here.
