Friday
Art Exhibition, Maldon
The Maeldune Heritage Centre will be displaying a series of oil paintings by George Kowzan. The colourful pieces are marked by their key bluey-green natural tones, inspired by a tabby cat that would visit the artist's wildlife pond every day, searching for the resident frog. The exhibition is a glorious tribute to the artist's furry friend, and the joy and ambition she brought him. The exhibition is on from Thursday May 29 until June 14, with the heritage centre open Tuesday to Saturday 11am until 4pm. You can join George for drinks and tapas this Friday from 5pm to 7.30pm.
