Police are appealing for witnesses after a two-vehicle crash in Wickham Bishops left a woman with serious injuries.

An orange FedEx lorry and a red Ford Fiesta collided at around 3.30pm on Friday, 11 March, on The Street at the junction with Tiptree Road in Wickham Bishops.

The female driver of the Fiesta suffered serious injuries and remains in hospital.

Essex Police is now appealing for anyone who may have seen the crash to come forward to assist with officers' investigation.

A spokesperson for the force said: "Officers from our Stanway Roads Policing Unit are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the crash.

"They would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have dashcam footage.

"Anyone with information can contact the Stanway Roads Policing Unit by calling us on 101 and quoting incident 818 of 11th March."
