Now playing in Essex one, Burnham welcomed Chingford for Game five of the new season, having won two of games so far and on the back of some major injuries.

The team played an excellent game with a new front five and some real speed in the backs.

Burnham scored a good try in the fourth minute with Max Newcombe touching the ball down after some nice interplay.

Just 15 minutes later Joe Petherick scored a well worked try with Jake Braybrook taking the extra two points.

Joe scored a second fine try on the 33rd minute, with Burnham continuing their running form with two tries by Scrum half Alex Roberts and a further conversion from Jake Braybrook.

This left the score at 29 to Nil at the halftime whistle.

The second half was a bit more edgy due to the rain and a slippery ball, with Chingford scoring their only try in the 44th minute.

Burnham looked dangerous with the last points coming from a lovely run from replacement Amiel Montealegre.

The final score to Burnham on Crouch of 34 to 5 left Burnham in the 4th position in the league.

The Burnham team train at their Millfield's site on Tuesday and Thursdays from 7.00 PM. New players and social members welcomed.

Team – Jake Braybrook, Joshus Schmbri, Sam Barr, Jay Walsh, Joe Petherick, Jack Sylvester, Alexander Roberts, Charlie Russo, Luke Cowell, Maximillian Newcombe, Joe Barr, Liam Searles, Tom Ford, Henry Torrie, Liam Tilley , Amiel Montealegre.
