So far, we are lucky that Maldon's historic waterfront; Cook's Yard, the Quay, the Sail Lofts and the boatyards, maintain their maritime connections with the past and in the present and, we hope, the future.

We, like Maldon District Council, do not want to see residential use of the Sail Lofts which would likely lead to development of the site.

You may wish to show your support for the waterfront by attending the Inquiry at the Council Offices at 10.00 tomorrow (Tuesday 24)
