A second late goal from Ross Wall in eight days delivered a point for Swifts on the opening day of the Isthmian North season.
The hosts had taken the lead in the tenth minute at Gardiners Close when hesitation from the Swifts keeper Callum Chafer gave Fred Agyemang to drift past him and slot the ball home.
Swifts, who began the competitive season last Saturday with a 4-0 FA Cup extra preliminary round win against Clapton, were assertive throughout against a side that conceded four yellow cards as they defended their lead but the visitors lacked the guile to breach the hosts' defence until six minutes from time.
Their hero at the death was veteran Ross Wall who got the equalising goal, to add to his season opener (also in the last ten minutes) against Clapton.
