Bowers won 5-4 on penalties

Swifts bowed out of the BB Essex Senior Cup this evening (Tuesday, 8 November), losing a penalty shoot-out at the Len Salmon Stadium.

Several times this season Swifts have sprung a surprise against higher league opposition in cup clashes, but this time the Isthmian North side fell just short against their Premier hosts, losing 5-4 in the shoot-out.
