Maldon's Christmas Fayre will return to the High Street on Thursday 24 November, featuring over 100 stalls and the chance to meet Santa himself.
Chaired by Town Councillor Michael Pearlman for his seventh year, the event will start at 4pm.
Maldon Town Mayor Andrew Lay will switch the town's Christmas lights on from the Moot Hall balcony at 5pm.
Councillor Pearlman told Nub News: "This is going to be the biggest event we've done.
"Each year, it has brought thousands of people into the town to enjoy the stalls and entertainment."
This year, Bright & Sons Solicitors will be home to Santa's Grotto, where young visitors will get to meet Father Christmas, from 4.30pm. Admission is free, but parents must book a time slot and register their child's name on Maldon Town Council's booking website.
The Fayre will start at West Square, with the former Maldon Police Station set to be illuminated with Christmas lights. The chestnut tree next to it will also be lit up.
Stalls from Wilkin & Sons, Maldon Salt Company, Ernest Doe, and almost 100 others are set to line the High Street, stretching from West Square down to Bar185.
Parking will be free in the town centre's public car parks, from 4.30pm.
