Join Stow Maries Great War Aerodrome for a day of aviation fun with a difference, on October 21.

We will be looking, weather permitting, to welcome a number of aircraft!

While there will not be any air displays, paying visitors will be able to see plenty of aircraft landing and taking off. They will be able to chat to pilots - even perhaps take a flightline walk and get up close and personal with the aircraft themselves. Our chums and World War 1 Aviation Heritage Trust will be present, with their WW1 Flight Simulator, too.

Our Mess will be open, and admission paying visitors will be able to take advantage of all of our hangars and exhibitions too, complete with a site tour - all included.

Witham Amateur Operatic Society brings Gershwin's all-singing, all-dancing Broadway classic to a local stage from Monday 23 to Saturday 28 October.

Coming to Witham Public Hall in October 2023, WAOS' next show is a classic. Crazy For You is an all singing, all dancing 1930's Broadway musical.

It follows the story of Bobby Child, a theatre-mad performer. He is torn between leading a life in theatre or running the family bank. Bobby, following the orders of his mother, heads to Deadrock Nevada where he meets Polly Baker, who he falls madly in love with. To win her affections, Bobby decides to save the town's theatre by putting on a show to bring in enough money to buy it back.

Performances nightly at 7.30pm, Saturday matinee 2.30pm. Doors open 30 minutes before curtain up. No admission before 2pm or 7pm.

To purchase tickets, visit the WAOS Ticket Tailor website.
