Friday

Quiz Night, Heybridge

'Save Maldon's Medical Services' is holding a quiz night at Plantation Hall, Heybridge on Friday. It is set to be a fun community quiz to raise funds for the medical service protest group. There will also be a raffle, and people are encouraged to bring their own drinks and nibbles.

Live Music, Maldon

Maldon Little Ship Club invited you to join them for an evening of live music by Matt Dennis. Non-members are welcome for a £5 fee. The club opens from 6 pm, with an 8 pm start for the music.

Saturday

Ride London, Maldon

The Ride London Classique is to return to the Maldon District on Saturday. The 143 km race, featuring some of the world's best women cyclists, will embark on a journey around Heybridge, Tollesbury, Birch Green, Tiptree, Witham, Terling, Hatfield Peveril, and Little Baddow, before returning to Maldon for the finish.

Steam Fair, Maldon

Downs' Traditional Steam Fair is to take over Promenade Park from Saturday, May 25 to Sunday, June 2. Open from 12 pm - 8 pm, the steam fair will offer several rides and activities - fun for all the family.

Sunday

Wings and Wheels, Purleigh

Stow Maries Great War Aerodrome are holding their annual event, Wings and Wheels, this Sunday, to raise vital funds for their museum. The event will host aircraft, which will entertain and amaze in the skies, as well as hundreds of classic cars and motorcycles. There will be photograph opportunities with the aircraft. There will also be a bar provided by Datum Attitude Brewing Co, a BBQ, and full access to the award-winning exhibitions.

Caribbean Party Night, Maldon

Osea Leisure Park is hosting the one and only Marvin Humes for an evening of party this Sunday. From 9.30 pm to 12.30 am, you can dance the night away and enjoy spectacular entertainment provided by 'fire-eating cabaret.' There will be mixologists and a VIP Lounge, for a proper island party.
