Maldon Rugby Club's Under-8s hosted Westcliff in what can only be described as a fun and exciting fixture, last Sunday (October 1).

The players have shown great improvement in recent weeks with some very productive training sessions and an away fixture against West Mersea.

The Maldon players showed they have all worked on their defensive lines. Attacking from deeper positions, made it difficult for Westcliff to defend with Maldon's excellent support play resulting in some exceptional tries!

Special well done to the Player of the Week, Lenny Gwalter, who demonstrated great pace and skill. That was coupled with an excellent attitude.
