Maldon and Tiptree FC have a announced managerial changes in the organisation of the club.
Daniel Barber will be appointed as the new club chairman.
A statement from the club says: "Daniel is a well-connected local businessman and has over 25 years of experience in non-league football. Daniel brings a wealth of knowledge on and off of the pitch and we're excited to welcome him to Maldon and Tiptree FC."
Mr Barber said "I'm ecstatic and proud to become the chairman of Maldon and Tiptree FC. I am looking forward to taking on this journey working alongside my fellow board members, the management, players, volunteers and the fans"
The club statement continued: "Mitchell Cowling will be taking on a newly formed role at the club as a full time general manager. He will be looking to maximise the facilities at Park Drive with the aim of adding to the recent successes both on and off the pitch.
"Current chairman, Jerry Carter, will remain as an active board member."
Mitchell Cowling is the son of Colchester United's controversial millionaire owner Robbie Cowling. Colchester United have had strong connections with Maldon over recent years, effectively treating them as a junior club, with young Colchester players blooded into the senior game at non-League level with the Jammers.
Mr Carter added: "I have only been with the club a short while and in that time we have established the requirement for a restructure if we are to maximise the clubs potential. I would like to thank all of the volunteers that have supported me during my time as the Chairman and I'm confident they will also be very supportive of this restructure. I look forward to working alongside Daniel and Mitchell as we continue to progress the clubs development."
