Potters Bar Town 0, Heybridge Swifts 2
Swifts manager Steve Tilson was delighted with the performance of his team as Heybridge pulled off another cup upset, dumping high-flying Isthmian premier side Bar out of the FA Trophy.
After the away win that sees Swifts into Monday's first round draw Tilson said: "We were fantastic today, we limited them to just a few chances, every man was fantastic. It was a brilliant result, a brilliant performance.
"It's a great achievement to make the first round proper. This is a fantastic competition to be involved in. It's great to have a good run and I hope it will continue. I am looking forward to the draw on Monday."
Swifts took the lead after 13 minutes with another goal in an increasingly impressive season for Andrew Fennell who burst through the Bar backline to net and wrapped it up with seven minutes to go when a counter-attacked resulted in a fumble by home keeper Ted Collins and Kieran Jones tapped the ball home to spark joyous celebrations among the travelling fans.
