A goal deep in added time added hugely to Heybridge Swifts' renewed promotion credentials as they earned a draw at leaders AFC Sudbury today (Saturday, 18 February).

The hosts took the lead after just five minutes through the prolific Nnamdi Nwachuku but Swifts showed their resilience and went in on level terms at the break thanks to a 36th minute own goal from Yellows 'Oliver Caley-Brown.

Six minutes into the second half Sudbury's diminutive Harrison Chatting added to his stature with Sudbury's second goal but, just when it looked like the hosts were home and hosed, Rob Harvey popped up with a 92nd minute leveller.

There was to be no such joy for Maldon & Tiptree, despite taking a 33rd minute lead through Michael Finneran at home to promotion-chasing Felixstow and Walton United.

Second half goals from Joe Whight and Joshua Hitter gave the visitors a 2-1 victory.
